Have an Impact and Help Create Positive Change

Here at New Path, families have an opportunity to get involved, have an impact, and help create positive change for their own families as well as others. This means that staff and families work together as equal partners in a process called family engagement. In this way, families recognize their own needs, strengths and resources and empower themselves to take an active role in creating positive change for their family. It also means that families have opportunities to get involved and take part in improving mental health services and systems for all families.

Share your experiences to build a better mental health system for all

Through engagement and creating opportunities for family voices to be heard, New Path learns about the needs and concerns of families directly, which ensures accountability and services that reflect what’s important to them.
