NEW PATH YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES HOSTING YOUTH-FACILITATED WORKSHOPS
Youth participants (aged 14-20) are wanted to take part in youth facilitated workshops focusing on the topics of teen dating violence prevention, Canada’s food guide, and chemicals in our everyday lives. The workshops are being offered by New Path Youth and Family Services at its Barrie location (165 Ferris Lane) on Saturday, February 16th from 9am-5 pm.
“This is an exciting opportunity for youth to have their collective voices heard and to impact future government policies and initiatives affecting young people,” says Lisa Cluett, Manager of Clinical Services at New Path Youth and Family Services. “Recommendations will also be shared at the Canada We Want conference at the end of the month in partnership with the Students Commission of Canada.”
Food and refreshments as well as community services hours and an honorarium are available to participants.
