Simcoe County – Brookfield Residential Ontario recently donated $2500 to New Path Youth and Family Services (New Path) in support of child and youth mental health services across Simcoe County.
“We are so thankful for the donation from Brookfield Residential,” says Elizabeth McKeeman, CEO of New Path Youth and Family Services. “Now more than ever children, youth, and their families are reaching out to us for mental health supports. This donation ensures that children, youth, and their families can access therapeutic resources not covered by our funding.”
1 in 5 Canadian children and youth under the age of 19 has a diagnosable mental health concern. That’s why New Path has shifted to offering not only in-person services but also call-in and virtual mental health supports. Last year alone, although their largest referral source, schools, were closed, New Path’s trained counsellors saw more than 2,400 children, youth, and their families reach out for mental health support.
“Brookfield Residential is proud to support New Path Youth & Family Services in their ongoing philanthropic efforts to positively impact the community at large. We take great pride in partnering with local organizations and initiatives such as this, in an effort to actively contribute to the communities in which we build.” Brookfield Residential
