Service Highlights

Virtual Services

Through the pandemic New Path shifted quickly to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. Somewhat seamlessly, New Path was able to shift our service delivery to virtual model offering phone and video sessions while in a provincial lock down.

New Path’s Walk In Clinic has become a Call In Clinic. The move to Call In Clinic has allowed for increased access to sessions by families calling in for a session as sessions are available across the county 5 days per week. Parenting grounds have also moved virtual with Triple P groups offered on a video platform.

Committee Work

Despite the challenges, agency staff were hard at work ensuring we were engaged in the future development of the clinical practices within the agency via committee work.

  • Incubator Committee helps staff develop new ideas for service or programming.
  • Evidence Based Committee was re-formed to continue to review the best evidence based/informed practices to meet the needs of the children, youth and families we work with.
  • Family Engagement Core Implementation Team comprised of parents & staff have worked throughout the year developing practices and policies as well as engaging staff and Board members in training on family engagement.
