Amanda Palermo
Board Development Chair
Amanda joined New Path as a Board Member in late 2021; this is her first posting to a volunteer Board. Amanda also volunteers as a member of Seneca College’s Program Advisory Human Resources Committee, providing insight for future HR curriculum development and acts as a Mentor for students enrolled in the Human Resources program.
In her current role, Amanda works as Director, Human Resources for Blue Door Support Services. She has been fortunate to work in a generalist capacity and so she has gained experience in all areas of HR throughout her career. Amanda has been working in Human Resources for over ten years with the majority of her experience being in the not-for-profit sector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, English degree from York University and a Human Resources Management Post Graduate Diploma from Georgian College.
Amanda is thrilled to join New Path as a board member in hopes of providing support from a strategic HR lens to ensure we are doing our part to support individuals within the community.
