Resources for Youth
Kids Help Phone
Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only national 24-hour, bilingual and anonymous phone counselling, web counselling and referral service for children and youth.
The service is completely anonymous and confidential – they don’t trace calls, they don’t have call display. You don’t even have to tell them your name if you don’t want to.
The MindShift™ app will help you learn how to relax, develop more helpful ways of thinking, and identify active steps that will help you take charge of your anxiety.
MyHealth Magazine is a health and wellness program delivered through a series of interactive, online resources for young people (students.myhealthmagazine.net), educators (teachers.myhealthmagazine.net), and college students (college.myhealthmagazine.net), as well as managers and employees in the workplace (work.myhealthmagazine.net).
The New Mentality
The New Mentality is a provincial network of youth and allies working to amplify youth voice to influence change within the mental health system and beyond. Our work is grounded in the belief that youth experiencing mental illness must contribute to building and improving the mental health system.
