L’engagement signifie \u00e9couter les familles, communiquer dans les deux sens et inclure et soutenir le r\u00f4le de la famille dans la prise de d\u00e9cision. L\u2019engagement consiste \u00e9galement \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s permettant aux jeunes et aux familles de se faire entendre, ce qui nous permet de conna\u00eetre directement les besoins des jeunes et des familles. Ce processus garantit une responsabilisation et des services qui refl\u00e8tent leurs besoins.
L’engagement familial chez New Path signifie que les familles et le personnel ont un partenariat actif. Nous croyons qu’il faut donner aux familles les moyens de reconna\u00eetre leurs propres besoins, leurs forces et leurs ressources et de jouer un r\u00f4le actif dans la cr\u00e9ation de changements positifs dans leur vie.
New Path a travaill\u00e9 avec Sarah Cannon de Parent for Children’s Mental Health. Plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e, nous avons envoy\u00e9 un sondage instantan\u00e9 \u00e0 tout le personnel et au conseil d’administration. L’instantan\u00e9 visait \u00e0 recueillir des informations et des perspectives importantes pour aider \u00e0 \u00e9clairer la planification future de l’engagement familial. Au printemps, nous avons co-d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 le New Path Commitment to Family Engagement avec l\u2019ensemble de notre personnel. Nous avons explor\u00e9, en tant qu’organisation, comment nous pouvons maintenir et c\u00e9l\u00e9brer l’engagement envers les familles dont notre personnel fait preuve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depuis notre journ\u00e9e de formation, nous avons form\u00e9 une \u00e9quipe de mise en \u0153uvre de base pour commencer \u00e0 op\u00e9rationnaliser l’engagement familial \u00e0 New Path. Les membres de l’\u00e9quipe comprennent les parents, le personnel, la direction et Sarah Cannon\u00a0; ensemble, nous \u00e9laborerons conjointement le plan de mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
