In response to increasing demand for child and youth mental health services at its Barrie location, New Path Youth and Family Services (New Path) is increasing its hours for child and youth mental health walk-in clinics starting the week of January 14th. The Barrie clinics will now run every Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am – 7 pm with the last appointment time at 5:30 pm. It is located at the Barrie Common Roof at 165 Ferris Lane.
“Mental health can’t wait, and that’s why we’re extending our Barrie walk-in clinic hours to help even more children, youth and their families in the Barrie community,” says Dominika Zapolnik, New Path Youth and Family Services Communication Manager. “Call us, visit our website, come to a walk-in clinic. We will get you the mental health supports you need.”
New Path offers a range of services at 7 office locations in Alliston, Barrie, Bradford, Collingwood, Orillia and Midland, these services include groups for children and parents, short and long-term counselling and therapy, and a residential program. Walk-in clinics offer immediate mental health supports and can also be a first step to accessing these, and other, additional services.
