Fund Allocation: Up to 10% per year

The TwineBridge Fund is intended to support New Path Child and Youth Workers who are on permanent contract and who wish to further their professional knowledge in the field of children’s mental health.

Applicants may wish to take part in a workshop, seminar, and college or university course in order to better serve the needs of the children, youth and families in Simcoe County.

Professional growth experiences must be completed within six (6) months of the successful grant application.  As well, a written report on the proposed application of new knowledge must be presented to the immediate supervisor so that it might become part of the learning community culture that is ever present at New Path Youth and Family Services.

A grant of up to 10% of the Fund balance will be available on an annual basis.

Application will be received by New Path Foundation at any time during the year.  The application must outline the following:

  • Approximate costs: registration fee, travel, hotel etc.
  • One page outline of how the new learning is expected to directly  impact current practice in current position with expected outcomes (no more than three please)

Approval for requests greater than this amount may be considered and must be forwarded in writing to New Path Foundation outlining the exceptional circumstances under consideration.
